Established in 1944 Vern Bauman Contracting has enjoyed 4 generations of family ownership and operations in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. The story began as two brothers Aloys and Ed Bauman started The Bauman Brothers Company. Passing it on to the next generation Vernie and his brother Kenny took over the excavation side invested in dozers, high lifts, scrapers, and draglines, and ran it as Ken Bauman Excavating. Ever growing Vernie, as he is referred to, took the paving and hauling side and started Vern Bauman Contracting. worked together to build to what is now a contracting enterprise spanning 4 counties. Specializing in Asphalt paving, grading, excavating, utilities to snow removal our team is here year-round for your construction needs.

Now run and operated by the 4 Bauman brothers, Brad, Dean, Kerry, and Todd, their combined 140 years of experience in the industry are why referrals are their number one source of business.
